Belinda and I look at the stars and think of Malcolm. Hoping one day to see him again.

She looks at them herself and remembers childhood stories. I look at them and just remember.
They give us hope because they are a constant (at least in our lifetime.
They give hope, comfort and inspiration to both of us .
They are in their own way magical...

i had surgery last week to remove a tumor from inside my knee. so for me, even though i do not usually subscribe to the idea of christmas and its many religious and commercial ideas for me this year it has been easy to reflect and see the wonder in many things.
